Our Team

The minds behind our team

Leadership

The elttam team is led by three highly technical security professionals with a combined experience of greater than 50 years. The elttam leadership team holds strongly to our belief in quality technical security services, refusing to compromise quality for volume.

Jamie Ooi

Chief Operating Officer

Jamie has over a decade of experience as a trusted cyber security professional. Starting her cyber security journey as a penetration tester, Jamie taught herself the fundamentals of technology and their potential vulnerabilities and has performed security testing for a wide range of commercial organisations and large scale government initiatives.

Jamie is also a keen people and business leader and has built one of the largest security testing teams in Australia. Outside of cyber security, Jamie is a keen bird watcher and photographer and is too keen to share her amateur nature photography with you.

Daniel Hodson

Chief Research Officer

Daniel has over two decades of security consulting experience, specialising in source code review to help companies improve trust in their product security, especially when faced with sophisticated adversaries.

Daniel has extensive experience across a wide variety of technologies—from private clouds, web services, and operating systems to firmware, TEEs, and hardware devices relied upon by millions of users worldwide.

Matt Jones

Chief Innovation Officer

Matt has over two decades of experience specialising in security engineering of bespoke technical security systems and specialising in technical assessments working with blue chip giants and also Australian technology leaders on their security critical projects.

Matt brings a combination of technical skills and soft skills to provide a pragmatic approach to assess the security of complex systems. Matt also serves on the Call For Papers for Australia's largest and most reputable technical conference, BSides Canberra.
